     Educational specialist Gilbert Gann brings high-energy to the stage. A certified teacher, he has been "in the trenches" at five different schools over 17 years. Gilbert inspires the crowd with humorous experiences and his love of teaching shows in every story. His twenty years of public speaking include classroom teaching, preaching, stage shows, emceeing, and singing. For twelve years, he counseled youths at summer camps.      Gilbert has served on the district's Superintendent's Advisory Committee. He has been on his school's Site Based Decision Making committee and serves as a board member of the Veale Creek Cemetery Association. At Austin Children's Engineering Magnet, he was named Teacher of the Month multiple times, and he helped Austin win the Hogan and Hartson New and Emerging Magnet Award in 2005. He currently teaches at Sheppard Air Force Base Elementary School. 
     In 1990, he was a Salesman of the Region award winner (seven state region) while working for Agency Rent-A-Car. Clips from his wedding to Laurie have been aired on America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC. He sings in a trio called Cedar Creek. A frequent donor, Gilbert is an American Red Cross Eleven Gallon Club member and that number is still rising a pint at a time!

Nolan Gann

     Inspirational leader Nolan Gann began preaching full time in 1985, joined the civil service as an instructor in 1991, taught courses in nuclear weapons, and returned to the pulpit in 2002.
     Nolan's experience as a speaker embraces the audience as he weaves his theme throughout a collection of stories that will leave the listeners shaking their heads in disbelief. Nolan presents our motivational program for support groups and other audiences needing encouragement. He sings in a trio called Cedar Creek.

Clint and Traci Gann

     Clint co-directs Texas Winter Kamp, an annual retreat for high school students during the Christmas / New Year's break. This annual adventure is designed for youths 14 - 18 years old and includes bible classes and devotionals, cookouts, bonfires, singing, sports and other recreational activities. Clint oversees a staff of volunteers including counselors who devote the camp time to help these teens make good life decisions.
     30 + years of public speaking: includes classroom teaching, preaching, song directing and sales demonstrations
     Summer youth camp volunteer: seven years as cabin counselor and eight years as camp director
     10 years experience in insurance adjusting

John Rhea

     Business communications specialist John Rhea draws application from a variety of workplace experiences, in both small business and the large corporate settings.  Experience includes mass communication in TV production, as well as oral and written (hard copy and electronic) communications in business settings.  He has a BA in Organizational Communication from UTA.  His easygoing style builds on honesty and integrity as the foundational cornerstones for business communications.
     Currently in sales, John has worked for J C Penny's marketing department, U.S.News & World Report and Outdoor Impact.

Sheri Hemby

     Sheri L. Hemby is a 2002 graduate of Midwestern State University. She was with the Boys & Girls Club movement for almost 15 years. Mrs. Hemby served the Movement in various capacities, such as Education Director, Teen Services Director, Branch Director and CPO. She is a member of The Professional Association, Legacy Chapter, where she holds the office of president.  Sheri is also a member of the Academy of Boys & Girls Club Professionals at the Youth Development Professional Level. She has served on the Youth Development Conference Task Force for 3 years. She is a National Training Associate in Basic Activities, a course which teaches adults how to play and teach games to children and Triple Play, which helps other youth development professionals create a world class sports program. Sheri has served as a facilitator at conferences and trainings for youth and adults and holds a great deal of experience in planning large special events for youth, teens and adults.  Her current focus is helping young women build the confidence and self esteem needed to make healthy life choices.

Steve Calvert

     Steve Calvert is a Human Behavior/Performance Consultant and Corporate/Educational Trainer who has traveled extensively to work with “for-profit” and “non-profit” organizations throughout the United States including Alaska, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Polynesian Island of American Samoa. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Social Science with special emphasis on Corporate Training and Professional Development and Human Resource Management. He is also certified through the Leadership Institute of America and the Institute of Applied Management and Law.
     Steve has dedicated the past 23 years helping aggressive growth-oriented organizations and individuals improve communication and collaborative skills, resulting in increased performance, productivity and work-life balance. He has provided management/supervisory and personal growth training to Fortune 100 companies including the Leadership Foundations Management Training for Wal-Mart, Inc., the largest retail organization in the world.  
     As a public speaker he has delivered over 4,000 presentations to organizations, conferences and symposiums worldwide. He has conducted numerous training and team-building seminars for various high-tech, legal, healthcare (Memorial Hermann Healthcare System), retail, and non-profit organizations including numerous school districts and churches.
     Steve was the Human Resources Manager of The Dii Group, a global printed circuit board design/engineering and manufacturing company. Later, with Flextronics International, the third largest contract manufacturer of computer products in the world, Steve effectively served as the Regional Learning Manager and Performance Consultant with the Learning and Organizational Effectiveness Group. Steve was responsible for the training and professional development for all engineering and manufacturing facilities throughout the central Unites States.  He also served as the Director of Human Resources for Resources for Living, an international consulting, counseling and coaching firm based out of Austin, Texas.
     As a NewLife coach, Steve’s passion is helping individuals in personal growth and as they discover and develop their unique strengths, attitudes, and abilities, and learn how to leverage those in reaching their full potential in all areas of life.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Coppell ISD Education Foundation and is a Chaplain with the city of Coppell, TX, through the Coppell Fire Department.  He is married (25 years) with 3 children and loves playing Bluegrass music.
